Educated Zebra Foundation Visit May 2023
19th May 2023 – The Educated Zebra Foundation ladies arrived in Livingstone, Zambia. Their grateful sponsored kids two teachers and the four ex grade 7’s met them at Livingstone’s Harry Nkumbula Airport.
Everyone then embarked on the bus for the short drive to Kool Kidz School where they were welcomed by all the kids and teachers.
No time was wasted in unpacking their suitcases full of books, computers and numerous other items for our school.
After a well earned night’s rest Marlynne & Diana returned to the school the next day for some interaction with the kids.
Four of our sponsored kids who completed their 7th grade studies at Kool Kidz last year have now moved on to 8th grade at other schools in Livingstone. Diana and Marlynne took the four of them, Shaun, Mary, Perpetual and Nelson, to the Maramba River Lodge for lunch.
Sports Day
Our weekly sports day was held on Wednesday 24th May and on this occasion was attended by our two sponsors.
Two of the children who were with us last year are now being sponsored by the Educated Zebra Foundation at Chimilute School where there are suitable boarding facilities.
Moses is in Grade 6 and Mary has just started in Grade 8.
